OMG I'm am such a sucker for troll bait! I just can't help myself, it's an addiction!
First I should address this little piece of misinformation:
"Ahhh, so you equal pvzh UNCOMMONS to HS COMMONS? Good, good"
Yes, the basic cards in PVZH are comparable to the base cards in Hearthstone. The ones you get at the beginning of the game and for playing the basic AI quests. You know, the ones you can't disenchant. This is because they use the same distribution mechanism but in a slightly different presentation. In hearthstone you start with a bunch of them and then you gain a few more by levelling up your avatars. Here you start with a bunch of them and then you gain a few more randomly by playing games. Don't know if you realized this but you can't get more than 4 of the basic cards and once you have them all, you just stop receiving them. This is why they should not be considered part of the collectible aspect of the game, because you are essentially getting them all, for free, guaranteed, just like the base cards in Hearthstone.

Right now facts are like this:
1. Ranking currency grind of PVZH is 8-10 times slower than HS.
2. Quests currency grind of PVZH is approximately the same as HS in terms of daily values, however it takes 7-8 times more to get the same amount of currency pack-wise as in HS.
These are the facts now, are they? The problem is that with these "facts" you are comparing apples to oranges because the quantity of currency or cards you get doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of the cards themselves and how they affect your decks. So these relative comparisons are quite meaningless. It's akin to comparing the performance of two cars by saying that one has more horsepower but neglecting to take into account just how efficiently each car uses that horsepower.
All the veterans of this game agree that legendaries aren't particularly important in building strong, competitive decks. The core is in basic, uncommons and rare, with the odd super-rare. I'm at Taco League and my main deck for advancing has 2 legendaries (1 ofs that I put in for fun) and 3 super-rares. Every thing else is rare or lower. I happen to be using Super Chomper, but the basis of the deck is in sunshine plants and the game guarantees that you will get one hero for each "faction" there is for both plants and zombies. So basically, anyone can build the core of this deck from very early on. This applies to most strategies. If you refuse to accept and understand this then you are sorely lacking experience in this game and that is probably why you are losing games to decks that you think are "p2w".
This is why it is meaningless to compare the quantity of cards if the quality of the cards you are getting is great.
There is also the fact most people are in the exact same situation as you. The vast majority of players in a game like this are F2P. A few will put a little bit of money into the game just to give them that little push to get them to the next level (like purchasing those last few gems to hit 2K or 5K) but even for these people their resources come from just playing the game. A few people will invest a large amount of money such that it actually makes a different, but these are far and few. This means that you are almost always playing against people in the exact same situation as you and getting a tight, exciting and fun game. If you are so impatient that you can't enjoy the game because you don't have cards labeled as legendary or because you don't have as many heroes as someone who has been playing for 6 times as long as you have then I have a hard time believing that you will enjoy any other card game where you have to start from the beginning.
You can certainly quit the game and you can goad other people to do so, but hopefully most people will realize the actual point of the game and where the fun lies in and can get past the few times they are matched against people with a bigger card collection.
