Yep this looks like the sort oi thing that'll need a patch.

    The golden gnome hasn’t been obtainable since the last update was released due to a bug and the developers are aware of this, so this bug should be fixed in an upcoming patch. I hope that answers players’ concerns. 👍

      I appreciate it, just glad to know that EA has heard of the bug. For know I’m just going to grind on the other gamemodes.
