These are a list of bugs and glitches I've come across so far post patch, along with a few character balancing issues. I'm going to list these starting with what I feel are the most crucial to be reviewed.
- Chomper Dig Ability Camera Glitch: During the Dig animation, and even for a couple seconds AFTER the animation, whenever you rotate the camera with the joystick, the camera will not rotate in the direction you press. Instead, it almost seems to be random in the direction it rotates and also has a delayed response. After the Dig animation ends, the camera will snap back into the forward facing position. Whenever this happens, it is extremely jarring, causing you to lose valuable seconds to your Dig meter, and will even cause you to move in a direction that you don't want to move. This happens every time without fail. I have never once had the camera work properly when using Dig. I feel this is the most important glitch so far.
- Camera Glitch After Re-spawn: I believe I may have figured out the cause of this glitch on my own. Whenever you are vanquished, if you repeatedly tap the re-spawn button (circle for me on PS4), the camera will glitch almost like the camera glitch for the Chomper Dig ability. When you Re-Spawn, the camera will be above your head and titled slightly in a way that causes you to run in the wrong direction. The camera will re-adjust itself after a few seconds.
- All Star Weapon Glitch: I've only had this glitch happen a couple times, but when it did happen, it was extremely frustrating and game breaking. Whenever you get close to an object with any character, your weapon will be pulled back close to your body. Whenever you do this, if you hold down the fire button, shots will be fired in the direction the barrel is pointing (obviously). I'm not sure if this glitch also applies to other characters, but when I used the All Star, somehow I managed to glitch my weapon and he had it pulled close to his body like he was standing in front of an object, and the shots were not going in the direction of my crosshair, instead going in the direction of the barrel pointing to the side, causing all of my bullets to miss their mark by a huge margin. This has happened only a handful of times, but I found it to be frustrating.
- Shots Not Being Registered: Every now and then, it's just so often, when you shoot or apply any type of damage to an enemy or player, shots just WILL NOT register for some reason. I thought it was maybe just lag or my poor aim, but I've had it happen multiple times and the game always seems perfectly stable whenever it happens. I've also seen other people complain about this happening as well. Not sure what causes it. It can last for a couple seconds or it can last for 10 seconds, it's pretty much random.
- Characters Falling Off Podium Post Game Results: During the Post Game Awards where the characters stand on the podium, sometimes all the characters will just fly off the podium. It's kinda funny, but annoying too. Not game breaking, but needs to be looked into.
- Character Balancing Issues: These are just some things I personally feel would bring a bit more balance to the gameplay. Like I said, this is how I PERSONALLY feel about these characters, this does not reflect general consensus, although I think some would agree with me.
- I'm not sure about everyone else, but it seems to me that all of the Corn classes need a damage boost or something. They are really weak and under-powered compared to some counterparts. It seems as if you have to be REALLY good with Corn to be in the top kills roster.
- Zen Cactus damage is pretty ridiculous. I know you guys nerfed his damage output in the last patch, but he's still a beast. I really hate to point this out, because I love playing as Zen Cactus and I love blasting out insane amounts of damage. But.... in the end I believe it's a bit cheap and over-powered.
- Rose........... Yes Rose.... Not an absolute nightmare to deal with like before the patch, but still a pretty tough nut to crack, especially in the hands of a really good player. The homing shots are still OP, as long as you adjust to the changes and practice a bit, you can still hit your mark just about every time and deal out insane damage. I know because I've done it a LOT lol... You guys also nerfed the stun ability, which is awesome, I'd say that one is balanced out sorta decent I guess. But the goat ability is still incredibly OP. The goat transformation lasts WAY too long, considering the fact that you can transform multiple enemies at once. But again, that's just how I personally feel about it.
- Armored Chomper needs a serious speed boost. I know he's meant to be a slow tanky kinda class with lots of health and damage, but how does that do any good when you're open to every attack while your trying to get to your target? He's so slow that the extra health doesn't matter, because you're just a walking bullseye on a suicide mission. Armored Chomper needs some love.
Anyways, that's all I can think of for now. I'll prolly be adding more to the list as the days go by. Hope you take this into consideration for the next patch.
Armored Chomper is insane! He doesn't need a speed boost. I know for a fact that you get a speed upgrade and that will bring up to around normal speed.
I think if anything chompers he should get a little nerf. My armor chomper can easily shut down mechs. You just goop it and with your massive 50 (55 withe damage upgrade) munch it a few times and its gone. I feel like chompers should only do un-shielded damage when they bite the *pit area.
