GW1 not workin
GW1 has not worked for over a week now on ps4 what is going on

I don't think anybody knows, but it can just mean that the company disabled it and probably will disable it throughout other platforms...
I'm just taking a guess. I sure hope not, because I like playing GW1 on PC.
I'll have to check on PC when I get home tonight. I certainly hope they haven't although I fully expected them to do so in February when the Unicorn Chomper unlocking ended. I don't go back to GW1 often but some of those of maps are sorely missed.
@Iron_Guard8 Did you check GW1 for PC? if you did, what is the verdict? Does it work? I don't currently have it installed on my pc.
I forgot till late last night and checked before logging for the night.
It did work and I got into a G&G game with very little delay, maybe 5 seconds till it popped so it may be a network issue or something for other platforms.
I can't get onto my PS4 right now but, you could check and see if the shop is still selling GW1. Fairly certain it is illegal to sell a dead game to people. If GW1 is truly disabled on console the digital copies should be gone from the shop.
I sure hope not though, I sorta feel EA is obligated to keep the servers running, possibly indefinitely. If they are running into resource problems maybe they should have thought about that before making every game require their servers to play.
It's been broken for PS4 users for over two weeks now. I spent that first week riding EA staff on the issue as much as I could. I just returned from vacation and still nothing has been fixed. This is getting ridiculous.
As to what is wrong, the closest I could get to a hint is that is it a BIG issue.
They really need to address this stuff more openly. We know the game isn't getting full support anymore, it still has a banner for :"New in Garden Warfare 2: the trials of Gnomus!" when I played some GW1 yesterday (on PC), but I was able to get both some G&G games and Garden Ops in in a timely fashion so enough people are still playing to keep the game up and playable and to at least directly confirm the issues to PS4 users.
Well, the player base has clamored for more transparency since, forever. At this point we need to accept that it's just not happening and either stop playing their games or deal with it.

I've gotten word back that at least something is happening on this issue. Staff hope to have something to tell me by tomorrow.
