Heroes Doesn't Open with new IPhone 17

I just got a new IPhone 17 and can't open my Heroes app. When I try to, I get the load screen and then the spinning wheel, and then the app just exits (but it's still open on my IPhone if I pull up to see which apps are still running). I'm not sure if I delete the app and reload it if it will still have all my data (gems, heros unlocked, plants/zombies). I can't seem to access my account when I download Heroes on my IPad. What should I do?
