Hot to unlock Sombrero Bean Bomb for the Peashooter?

It should be in sticker packs, I believe it's super rare. Someone else might be able to confirm with more certainty, I had it from GW1 and transferred. I know my friend got the heal ball and sonic mines from packs so it should be the same.

Sombrero Bean Bomb will eventually drop from a Sticker Pack. Given the way the random award system functions there is no telling how much longer you may have to wait before you find it in a Pack.

Unlike GW1, the abilities come from stickers rather than leveling up.  Most people who buy a good number of fertilizer fun packs seem to get sombrero bomb fairly early in the process.  The drop rate for these things is weird.  I'm around 40-50 million coins in, have every legendary character, and I'm still missing like three or four of the zombie alternate abilities.

can you find it in any sticker pack

I got mine from either the 20,000 or the 35,000 coin sticker packs... just a couple of months ago or so ago.

It'd be nice if Rux came with 5 of these regular alternate abilities every now and then. Some of them are total game changers like the Heal Bomb & Rocket Leap.

Barring that, you are best off buying Pea Packs (or whatever other class you are missing abilities for) when they are available in the store to maximize your odds.

Exactly so!  I've finally gotten heal bomb on my low level account but am impatiently waiting for rocket leap so I can play soldier with my usual style.  I can do OK without it, but to get the numbers I'm used to I need the leap.

I've read an opinion that the 7.5K pack is best for abilities, but I'm not sure I buy it.  On my low level account they seem to be coming at the same pace as they did before with the 35K packs. The drop rate is peculiar.  It took me until about 30-40 million coins spent on my first account before I had all of them (not counting Rux abilities).

Since this thread popped back up, I thought I'd mention that several million coins spent since my last post, I'm still waiting for rocket leap and iron maiden.  Man, these abilities have a maddening drop rate.
