- @gringoricanpr If the child’s account has the same email setup as your account, you should both get it.
@gringoricanpr I play on Xbox too, like in GW2 and the "deluxe" and "seasons eatingz" upgrades in BFN, I believe if you have linked accounts on your Xbox and you buy something like Xbox Live Gold or rainbow stars, every other account on your Xbox should get the same thing you purchased as well.👍
I just ended up buying rainbow stars digital download from Newegg.com and applying to my sons profile on Xbox.
thanks!
Oh, dwooten77 and TheSprinter85, really? Rainbow Stars across the board? I have purchased rainbow stars for my grandson (same Xbox console, one PvZBN game, two accounts for split-screen play). The rainbow stars showed on his account almost immediately for his use. I did not receive rainbow stars on my account. That’s too bad. I would’ve liked to have received them as well. Perhaps I am completing my purchases incorrectly? ~ Rose
@BabciaRosie So when you got any pvz title, you had to sign up an origin account using your email address. It was an automatic sign up on some consoles if you were playing multiplayer. Does your account memebership, and grandsons membership have your personal email address?
I see a lot of misinformation here. Related to xbox, I have 2 kids who love to play. So if you buy something like the Deluxe version, then all accounts that share your xbox gold with you will get the perks, such as the deluxe costumes and what not. Rainbow stars and currency however are different. You cannot buy Rainbow Stars in game through EA with a child account on XBOX but you can easily go to the xbox store on your xbox (using your childs account) and by them there. Only the account used to purchase it will get them. What I do is I go and add money to my kids accounts on occasion. It puts it on thier accounts as XBOX credit. Then they can go themselves and use it to pick up what they want as long as it doesn't exceed what their account has on it. All other non-EA games let my kids use their xbox credits in-game so not sure why EA doesn't allow it. They can't use a credit card, but they can use what I've loaded on their account for them to spend.
@SeahawkSteven Thank you! That was a poor assumption on my part. Thank you for correcting.
@SeahawkSteven I haven't bought any currencies in this game as of yet, only upgrades, so I will agree with you and take your word for it. Thanks!🤭
@BabciaRosie It may only apply to upgrades, rather than Rainbow Stars! I haven't tested it!
