45 here. 😃 Is there something about this game that just attracts people in their 40's???? I get a lot of requests to chat on XBL when I play this game, usually coming from what I assume are young males drawn to my name which indicates I'm female, so I don't ever bother. But now I see there's a lot more of us than I thought playing, I won't be so quick to dismiss.

46. OMG this forum is like an asylum for oldsters who play this game. I edited to add to this: I'm male, my daughter is seven and likes to play as well. She's pretty darned good for her age and the minimal hours she plays. We play ops together on easy and, as I've noticed since online split screen happened, she knows the ins and outs of garden ops better than most of the randoms who join our games. I have many female players among my PS friends. I like to play with females, maybe it's because I know they're often discriminated against in the gaming community.

risky info but I'll share anyway...42, male. My son plays too and he is 9. First true multiplayer game I've played...my last system was PS2 and that was 10+ years ago. Good game, I laugh a lot too with all of the wacky things that go on in this game.

Others in my family who play:
51 y/o sister, 79 y/o mother, and 2 nephews, 4 and 11. Unfortunately my 20 y/o son refuses to play cos the game has no street cred. Who cares about credibility, this game is just fun.

To continue the trend in this thread I'm 47 and male and pretty much assumed by the number of prepubescent voices on microphones when I play that I was the oddball older person playing the game.

My son, 6, and daughter, 4, also play- but not nearly as much as I do.
