I can't get into PvZ GW2

Hello! When attempting to cosmetically modify *Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare 2* using tools like Frosty, I started encountering an error upon launching the game:

The application has encountered an unexpected error.

You can choose to create a memory dump, which will aid our support team in diagnosing your issue.

To contact our customer support, go to (...) and attach the crash dump file to your ticket.

I completely removed all files related to Frosty from my computer, but the error persisted. I then realized the issue was likely caused by the AntiCheat system. I reinstalled EA AntiCheat, and the error did indeed go away. However, now the game fails to launch after the AntiCheat loading screen; instead, the EA App main page simply opens.

I have tried almost everything I could find, but I haven't been able to locate a solution to this problem anywhere. Please help! (I own the game on Steam.)
