I got all of the cards in Garden Warfare 2 and expected something should have happen; but nothing did ☹️ You could have at least given out the Unicorn chomper :[

There's a base set of stickers and then additional stickers that appear during seasonal (or portal) events.
The extra stickers add to the total of your base set. Some people who play all the time get a few stickers others might miss but that doesn't effect the base set of stickers.... hope that makes sense to ya.
I'm sure someone else can explain it better.Just as @spIash_damage said, there are certain categories of stickers that are not added to your sticker book until you get them. Noteworthy are any items labeled "Special."
The amount keeps changing due to the book not counting some stickers until you find them. I'm hoping this upcoming community challenge for summer they mentioned will help us get those missing community challenge only stickers. I'm at 8629/8629 so missing 7 challenge stickers sounds right if the cap is actually 8636.
