Ice Rose is pretty useless now. I made the mistake of starting to upgrade her to Max before the patch and she was pretty bad then. Since the patch though, it takes a millennia to actually freeze someone. Her DPS is terrible as you can't shoot very quickly because of the charge up. With the reduced health, you can't get close to enemies as they'll pulverize you very quickly. Along with that, you can't be too far away because every shot will miss and it seems like there's barely any, if any, splash damage. Even when you are up close the damage doesn't increase, so pretty much any other character has the advantage.Fixes:-Increase the splash damage radius-Make the charge up plus one shot a freeze-Proximity explosion of the ice pellets so you don't need a direct hit to do some damage.

Yeah this whole dps over 10 minutes is hilariously unscientific. Someone like the zoologist can kill a sunflower or a Rose in 1 second. It takes him 3 seconds to dump 9 shots at 30 damage a piece. What kind of dps can a flower do in 1 second? Wow, definitely not 100 damage lol. What a joke. Your math and actual real game application of that math is laughable. Did you know it takes almost a full second to even just turn around. I got about .8 seconds to look 180 degrees in the other direction on default look sensitivity. A scientist can easily just Teleport behind you and you're dead as you're adjusting for a shot.The actual dps of someone like the zoologist is 90-120 damage. Per ACTUAL second. Computer scientist can do 100 damage in about .85 seconds. 150 damage in about 1.35 seconds.The DPS os the sunflower is 7-8 shots, and at 8 damage per shot. So that's about 56-64 damage.Math guy in here is crazy with his 10 minute long dps run. The sunflower died about 9 minutes and 59 seconds ago.

You're missing the point.... Her charge up would FREEZE targets so long that she could kill 'anyone' by landing that Freeze shot. She STILL can. It completely stuns a person for something like 4-5 seconds. Add that to time snare and goatify, but, you were seriously stating she was weak PREPATCH, which completely and utterly nullifies anything you say as nothing you say in this matter can be 1. Intelligible, 2. Truthful, 3. Unbias

I mean, one might be able to write an algorithm to somewhat accurately represent all of these other factors, but I only got up to Calculus, Finite Mathematics, Calculus w/ Analytic Geometry and Advanced College Algebra. Might need someone with a deep background in Advanced Numerical Analysis w/ Finite Elements and/or Semidefinite Optimization. Since my background isn't deep enough in those subjects, I wont even attempt to quantify all of the actual variables. But, I feel confident in sticking with raw DPS, showing that the sustained DPS of the Sunflower is roughly the same as the burst DPS of the Scientist over a short time, and due to the number of reload attempts, the Sunflowers sustained dmg potential is higher than that of the Scientist.

If you think the single best character/variant (Ice Rose) in the game prepatch was "pretty bad then", then you're so far gone that Pluto looks like Earth to you.....

I seriously stopped reading at that point, because, really? You think that her prepatch version, where she had a charged homing attack that would freeze a 200 hp toon (Brainz) for long enough that you could melt ALL of his health away, was weak? Really? REALLY??

Actually it was max damage 50 before patch. Don't mind that they made its charge up weaker. Go ahead and try using it right now! It's completely useless. Hard to hit anything from any range, and doesn't do * for damage now.

I use her and freeze people regularly. I hang back, manage the teleporter, and help protect snipers. I get plenty of experience and have decent survivability.

Math is all fine and dandy if everyone hit their target 100% of the time and the targets never moved, but you'd need to land every shot with a sunflower... and nobody is capable of doing that. I'd much rather need to land 3 high damage shots than 10+ low damage shots.
