Ideas and suggestions that would probably be great for the game

I have read the description on ROSE and I think it is great. But I think what would really help is if you could possibly create a survey on what the players think about them. Here is how I think you should put it:

  1. Questions on whether some characters are overpowered, neutral, or underpowered. If the player doesn't have any experience, they could just put "never played this character before".
  2. The player's thoughts about the maps for Turf Takeover/ Herbal Assault,  Garden/Graveyard Ops, and all the other maps (gnome bomb, vanquishing each other for fun or for orbs, subordination, and etc.). Ask the players about the maps such as asking them if they need to be changed or have seen any bugs or glitches with them.
  3. Some features and ideas that you or some other players came up with. Especially about the community challenges that appear by the town hall. You can ask them about their thoughts on them and if they would like them in the game or not.
  4. (Let this here be optional if you have any other ideas to add to here if you wanna ask them anymore questions)

🕒🏀☕🖥️ I also have some ideas that I came up with or were suggested by @FelipeGames2000 or may have been mentioned by some other people. I am sorry if I have stole some of your ideas as you keep on reading this.

Starting with the stars that you collect from completing quest. I am sorry if I stole any of your ideas and some ideas I have decided to add a few details to. @FelipeGames2000 idea was that they could be used to unlock character stickers to unlock more characters for a certain amount of stars (depending on the rarity so player's couldn't be unlocking them too fast). I also read about someone mentioning have bosses being playable (such as giga torch, disco dancing zombie, especially those two bosses that you may or may have not defeated when on a quest, including Crazy Dave and Zomboss, etc.). However, there can only be a maximum of 3 bosses for both the plants and zombie sides and players can only use them once or twice per match. The bosses are available only after 3 minutes once the match has started and they cost about either 12 stars to use them or 10,000 coins to use them. Yes, the bosses can be used in the backyard and you have the option to control them. They can be summoned for the same price as in a match. Also, you can trade a certain amount of coins for stars. This will also work the other way around. Here is a system I have figured out here (still in a work in progress though so may need some help to balance this out):

  • 25,000 coins = 1 star         <> 1 star   = 3,000 coins
  • 35.000 coins = 2 stars       <> 2 stars  = 10,000 coins
  • 50,000 coins = 3 stars       <> 3 stars  = 15,000 coins
  • 100,000 coins = 10 stars    <> 10 stars = 50,000 coins

This is all the ideas I have came up with for now. Some ideas may be added here. Please leave your feedback so I can see what needs to be changed or if you have another ideas that would like to add or change.

  • Reason I had to add a limit or a cost to them was because I thought players would be complaining about having too many bosses in a match and I didn't want players to progress through with collecting the characters too fast which would almost ruin the point of playing the game.

  • Another thing that was suggested by @Felipegames2000 was to have add another mode called Boss Hunt where players can use treats to attract plant & zombie bosses almost like a bounty hunter. There could be a sign in the backyard with a list of bosses to defeat and how much reward money you get from them depending on the difficulty (easy, normal, hard, or CRRRAAAAZZZZZYY). For higher difficulties, you may be required to defeat a certain number of bosses or defeat them using a certain character  or variant (such as the ice cactus,  hockey star, golf ball star, electro brainz, etc.).

How about the Boss Mode system works similar to the first game? Only one per team and when you die, you need to wait until the bosses are available again.

  • I wanted to give at least 2 more players a chance to use the bosses and the change I just now thought of is that there can be no more than 1 of the same boss and reason I wanted to add a charge and a wait time for them was because I didn't want players to just suddenly use them right a the start of the match.

  • Also what do you think about the use for the stars? I read a few post about players saying that the stars were almost completely useless because they were only used for opening chest, placing some statues or monuments  around the backyard, special gardens/graveyards in garden/graveyard ops, and using them for infinity mode. So I made a little system (that is still in working progress) that allows players to trade stars < coins and especially the other way around (stars > coins). I also mentioned your idea about using stars to unlock character stickers. So I decided that the cost for a character piece would depend on the rarity of the character. Once you buy a character piece, the price of stars that is required goes up by one.

How about... 100 stars for a legendary hat and 200 stars for a character sticker? And please, no transformations of coins to stars... It's to expensive.

Maybe also use 3 stars to allow the player to use boss mode earlier...

  • Shouldn't we ask what players might think of this rather than are own opinions?

  • I'm for all fully playable bosses on backyard battleground. For fun with friends and AI...But spend every time some stars or coins just for play as boss on backyard is stupid for me...
