give it time, they will fix it, they already posted about it twice, the game has been out only for 1 week, just be patient 🙂
I dislike Rose as well, but, people seem to be gravitating towards other characters now. You still get the occasional group of * that when going back and forth they'll use 6 Rose's, but when the Zombies switch over, they'll use like 1 Rose, and it'll go like that all night (that's how it's been tonight), but, it 'is' getting better.
Yeah every match that I played tonight I was picked for Zombie side. I spawned in and just saw the influx of Roses as well. Seems like if I get to play as plants we win. If I'm on Zombies we lose. Its tough trying to level up my Zombie Scientist. A guy I talked to on voice tonight said "Just give it time. Her nerfs are coming".
I know it'll get better, this just isnt what I was paying for, as is. I 'm really more concerned about rarely getting to play as plants. I've experienced 1 hr or more playtimes with only 1 - 2 games of plants. I don't understand what was wrong with garden warfare's matchmaking? One run of zombies one run of plants. All they'd need to tweak is opening up team switch only to balance teams if nobody is joining the match.
I'm just now getting to dive into the multiplayer, and its just been a shock so far of these roaming gangs of roses.

I had the same problem for a long time not being able to play plants. My 10 year old daughter figured it out for me. Make sure that when you enter multiplayer you are a plant on the backyard section of the game, and vice versa for zombies. This significantly alters the chance of spawning as whatever team you wish to be on. It's not guaranteed but it helps ALOT.
Still prefer the old GW1 team switch over at the end of the map though.
Actually cases this severe should be hotfixed ASAP it's been more than 1 week with a game breaking character running rampant and believe it or not this DOES drive away a lot of players.
We preordered this game in group for PS4. Now several of my friends already sold it again on ebay. As long as it stays unplayable with rose, its waste of money. in a few weeks it will be a low budget title.
Thats poor. GW1 was my favorite Game the last year. But this is really frustrating here.
There's still plenty of things to do outside of MP b/c of rose.
I suppose if you have several hours a day to play it might be different, but Garden/Graveyard Ops has been fun lately along with finding snow globes and gnomes w/out using walkthroughs online.
Playing against Rose no matter how hopeless it is WILL make you a better player. I have been on countless sessions on Great White on zombie side usually with players making a grave effort to get the first garden. These players use the most uncanny and unique tactics to take down Rose. I know for certain my skill level has gone up immensely and I'm not talking about in-game level fighting a swarm of Roses.
Rose isn't as strong as she was before because the community has actually learned how to fight her even under these conditions now. She obviously needs some adjustments which I trust POPCAP to make, but also not rush and make her too weak.
in my opinion it would be enought to take away the homing projectiles. No need for that. Second, the fire rate must be set down a bit. The damage itself can stay as it is.
In fact it is fun taking her out and i managed it very often. But with two or three roses against you, its no fun anymore.
