Infinite Infinity Chest 20,000 coin reward, LAME!

There are a lot of Infinity mode customization items. I really find Infinity mode to be extremely boring and time consuming. I don't want to spend 45+ minutes of my time earning the 37,000 shards necessary for an infinite infinity chest only to get 20,000 coins instead of a customization or party character piece!!! (I already have all the party characters, I just included them for those that don't. I did get coins instead of a character piece once.) I can easily earn 20,000 coins in a fraction of the time in another mode! Is there any way to change the rewards recieved? I understand that some people may have all of the items and they should get something but if I don't have all of the items I don't want coins!!! Especially if I earned the highest chest reward possible!

  • the infinity mode system is (for solo) lose on wave 16 for a low teir prize and lose on wave 26 for a high teir prize. If you get coins 3 times in a row try doing the other teir.

  • I've said elsewhere on these forums that Infinity Time drops are pretty much garbage. I've lost track of how many times I've put in the time and effort to earn an Infinite Infinity Chest only to have it drop coins on me. When you're specifically trying for Legendary stickers it's bad enough to get an accessory but to have it drop a chunk of coins that you could have earned in a fraction of the time is doubly frustrating.

I understood then, as well as now, that the Legendary stuff is tough to get for a reason but small coin rewards being given out as a top tier prize is just insulting considering the amount of effort that you need to just get past Wave 25 by yourself.

Agreed it takes a little over an hour to do if you have a smooth run going plus its pretty pressure filled at times.

    Me too.

If everyone starts off in the later waves like I do, it would take them ten minutes to get an infinity chest.  Man up and start on 76.

i dont understand how would starting at later levels have b etter chance for infinite infinity chest?

On the later Waves each Time Shard which you pick up is worth more, the Shards you collect on Wave 25 add more to your total then the ones collected on Wave 1. This means that on the higher Waves it takes less shards to hit the 25,000+ which qualifies you to receive an Infinite Infinity Chest.

The catch here is you can only jump ahead as far as you have actually gotten. For example, if you've never made it past Wave 10 then you can't jump ahead to Wave 11 or higher.

  • This is especially insulting when you instead get the houndy hoe chest and only get 5000 for all that hard work.

The same thing happened to me. I don't play infinity too much, but now that I'm at max level and the only characters I need are party characters. I'm not very good at infinite time because it gives me motion sickness and it's repetitive. I finally got into a groove and collected 31000+ shards. I thought I was guarantee a party character piece only to get blown away after I opened the chest to receive 20,000 coins. Holy smokes!!!!! All that work for lousy 20,000 coins. I think I would rather slit my wrists before playing infinite time again.

Now, I just played again and let me say, that I collected 38,000+ shards and when I opened the chest, I got 25,000 coins.

This morning, I collected 45,000+ shards and got a legendary non-character piece.
