Is the revive system broken?
Maybe "broken" is too rough a word but I think the system could use some tweaking.
First off a problem that has been around since GW1. When approaching a downed team mate, there is no way of telling if they are being revived by someone else. Which can lead to you standing around for a few seconds reviving only to have team mate get up a second before you revive them.
Maybe there should be some way of telling when they are being revived or even better, a revive assist bonus where if 2 or more players are reviving a player the revive goes faster and points are divided between them.
Next is the fact that getting revived does not effect the final KD at the end of a round. In my opinion, getting revived should count towards the "Times vanquished by player" stat at the end of the round. I often find myself getting revived and realize that there is zero point to me letting the revive finish and would rather respawn with full health instead.
Also, the "getting up" animation that plays when revived takes a few seconds and leaves you vulnerable to some cheap kills.
Decreasing the time of this animation couldn't hurt I think.
