While it's not everything I could wish for, who am I to complain? These changes look to be great!
Toxic Chomper: Finally, buffs to this guy! His spray, while it won't become the best and outmatch Fire's, will actually be able to get some vanquishes. One small complaint I have, though... Power Chomper still deals more damage AND overheats slower than all the others. Why not nerf him, like with Fire?
Captain Squawk: Well, it's a buff, but not anything completely game changing, and his Flem Thrower is still incredibly weak. Will still probably be a laughable character, and I'm sure I'll still be calling him by the nickname I made up for him, "Captain Suck."
Tank Commander: Nice to see buffs to this guy. My only thought is if he will be able to compete with Scuba Soldier now.
Hover Goat-3000: Not bad, but seems kind of unnecessary to me. His main weapon damage was right where it needed to be to fill in the support role, and the Mega Awesome Laser buff still won't help Hover Goat to win many fights.
Torchwood: It's yet to be seen that Torchwood might actually be decent now. His range and accuracy are still garbage, and Smoldering Madness REALLY didn't need to get buffed any further.
Freezing: Excellent to see this nerfed, even if not by that much. Maybe I'll cringe slightly less at the sight of a Frozen Citron now, and the next time we see the Boss Hunt, "The King's Day Out", we might actually be able to complete it.
Gravity Grenade: Less complete helplessness, less harsh for Plants to fight against, more happiness.
Turbo Twister: The one change in this update that I, personally, can't agree with completely. Don't get me wrong, it's great that the speed reduction effect is getting toned down, but less damage? The Twister already lacks much vanquishing potential, as there are a lot of abilities that can cancel it. I feel like lowering the damage resistance even further would've been a better move.
Still, things haven't gone live yet, so who knows? My opinions may very well change. Maybe the new Turbo Twister won't be that bad to use, and maybe the new Torchwood might actually be able to get vanquishes without relying on his abilities! Only time will tell.
