Since iron citron was my first legendary that i got super early into the game and my main citron that i use i can say he definitely does not need any damage buffs. 50 damage per hit is more than enough so i'll never understand why people want him to deal even more damage. he's a very deadly plant character when used right especially with sunflowers around helping him tank.
That said having used him for about 12 hours total game time i can't say i'm pleased with hearing that his damaged will be nerfed because i think all legendary characters should be awesome and super good characters in general but at the same time some of you are complaining about this way too early when we don't even know how much his damage is being nerfed. if he still does at least 40 per shot i wouldn't care much and would still be happy with him. I'm sure he's primarily being nerfed due to his iron mode that gives him 5 rapid shots that all deal 50 damage with an already short reload time.
they should leave iron citron as he is
and only change his iron mode damage that is the only problem with him
once he gets into iron mode he is insanely OP they should make his shots do 40 damage instead of 50 just while in iron mode
other then that he is fine
i mostly use him as a sniper to annoy the zombies
the shots are hard to land from far and they only do 25 damage which is nothing in this game and he can only shot once per second 25 damage per second is nothing
up close where he does 50 its also only 1 shot every second
and if you miss it you do splash only so its kind of a high risk high reward
they should leave him as he is and only change the iron mode which is too strong for sure
