I get they're supposed to be hard to get but come on man. I'm rank 1565, I've spent 17 million in the sticker shop, I have 5,000 of the customizations and I have never gotten a legendary character piece. In fact, since the patch update I haven't even got a legendary hat. It's like they don't even exist in my game anymore.It's getting to the point where I'm about ready to stop playing so hard. I'm grinding for 2-5 hours a day every day. It's very disappointing to not get rewarded when your spending 1.5 million in the shop at a time. Hopefully there will be a fix for this in the next patch.If anyone else has had this happen to them, I'd be interested in knowing if you ever got a piece, how many coins you spent before you got your first, what packs you were buying, what packs you got it from and if it was pre or post patch update.

For me I unlocked every legendary character and hat by about 45 million. I seemed to be getting a legendary hat every 7-15 35k packs. At first I didn't get anything but like after I had all common-super rare accessories my luck for legionaries increased. I am currently rank 3138. I never need to visit the sticker shop again until they add new stuff.

Well not much has changed. Still no legendary character pieces.I'm at rank 2146.5516 sticker book items.22 million coins pumped into the vending machine.I have all party legendary characters.All golden gnomes.All snow globes.Every side mission completed.Over 300 hrs of game time.The other day, after the new update I finally got a legendary hat for cactus. Was my first legendary item since the first update. It took my almost 10 million coins to get one legendary hat that I'll never use.@EA_Andy something should be done about this RNG. I've spent so much time playing this game. I've been trying to get the computer scientist and toxic brainz for ever. Been a loyal player since early days of gw1. Was rank 313 way before the announcement of gw2. Pretty order the deluxe edition before the beta was even out. I hate to investing my time and money into this without being able to unlock characters that other people have got from far less effort. That makes no sense to me at all. Someone at rank 700 with 10 million coins spent shouldn't have all 4 legendary characters unlocked before someone at rank 2100 even has one legendary character piece.

@darthvader1070 I completely understand the problem as I have friends who receives near to no legendary items (even gear) though I somehow receive a legendary item frequently (around each 5 to 6 packs). From what I heard, these are exclusive to "35,000 coin sticker packs" (after the patch I think) and it seems that rarity decreased from my sources. However, I can not confirm this as I do not have access to the game data. 😳 There is a large base of players whom experience excellent luck such as I though many unfortunate such as yourself with near to nothing. However, there is also a very large (usually unspoken) majority of the base whom receive somewhere in-between out two quantities of legendary stickers. My solution is to constantly purchase 35,000 coin packs to obtain legendary stickers and pick the correct pack depending on your desired unlockable (such as Fertilizer Fun Pack if you want to unlock characters such as Disco Chomper). Pick the Wondrous Pack if you want legendary stickers overall when you do not really mind. There is a low chance to obtain a legendary (seems ever lower for a character piece as most of the legendary items are gear) though there are many different methods to obtain coins (try not to grind, it will only lead to more frustration). When possible, a regular "Turf Takeover" game can yield roughly 14,000 to 20,000 coins and over when contributing the team. I usually get most of my funds from "Mixed Mode" which presents a great variety of styles. Simply enjoying the game would definitely help you unlock your desired unlockable(s) eventually. Overall, stick to 35k priced packs and try not to grind (appreciate the game modes to keep motivation). Good luck! -VoltScience: Exposition Mage

@TGSasquatch3 I've tried every method of pack opening.
Spent 4 million on 15k packs and around 12 million on the 35k packs. I think there's something wrong going on. I should've got at least one piece by now.

My goal is to be max rank in this game. With this RNG thing with the legendary characters i may never get there, ever. No matter how much I play or how much I spend in the sticker shop, there's no guarantee that I'll ever unlock the 4 legendary characters. So what's the point of even trying to complete a game that is only possible to complete for a "lucky" random players. It's like trying to win a game of basketball but your team doesn't have a hoop.

Btw I'm in a similar situation as OP.

Rank 1300-ish and 12 million coins down the hatch.

My rewards? Nothing!

Legendary characters?

None of course.

Only people I see with legendary characters are rank 500 ultra lucky scrubs or confirmed cheaters. So sick of this lottery.

Its unacceptable in my opinion.

I think there should be a challenge or a bench mark to get to in order to unlock them.

Maybe you'd have to max out all the scientist's to get the computer scientist. Same thing for iron citron, toxic brainz and discover comper.

I only recommend buying the fertilizer fun pack not the zombie pack. Buy the 35k pack for both of them because when I bought about 30 zombie packs i never got any legendary items but the fertilizer fun pack like every 10 packs I got a legendary.
