I’m good without variants.
I continue to play the series because I like annihilating @dwooten77 ... zero other reasons.
😬
EDIT: that and the consideration of changing my PSN to Giraffctus.
@spIash_damage But after you, from what i've seen, an experienced player of these games, masters out all the characters? There won't be much to achieve after that. We need variants for replay value. Plus not to mention it adds that subtle bit of variety to the game. In GW1 and GW2, if you had a grip on one character, changing the variant slightly would completely change your tactics and approach to fighting.

I’m different than most in the fact I wish there was only one character model with various weapons.

@spIash_damage I wouldn't mind that either, just we need some variant-like things.

I understand that perspective.
I play casually (occasional competitions) and can have fun helping people as much as PvP try harding.
Variants will always cause imbalances in games so I’m not a fan and they don’t enter my mind when I think about the core fun of gameplay in my household.
My kids LOVE this game/franchise so it’s the one I prefer and will play loyally until I stop having fun.
😊👍
