Lets fix Chomper
Alright Chomper needs some work, since he's the only melee class the Plants have and I feel they need a stronger close range offense character. A Chomper should be feared, atm he's just one huge crit...
I think you're on the right lines but probably a little overboard?
- Digestion Damage Reduction to 50%
- Bite Damage Increase to 35
- Damage Reduction Burrow to 50%
- Health Increase to 250
- Chomp Cannon Damage Increase to 150
Chomper is my favourite too but to balance it, I think the above should do it, with Goop/Camera bug fixes.
May I use some of your ideas into a mega balance thread I plan to write up?
Bare in mind cheesy goop makes bites more effective with its DOT whether or not the bite damage is increased more. One more reason to have it.

Sure thing, I was just throwing ideas around. I wasn't set on the values. I may of gone abit overboard with bite damage, I just wanted people terrified of the Chomper lol.
Your values seem more realistic, I would be happy with those in game.

Probably not that much damage reduction and health increase,it would make him too tanky. But for the rest,it seem fine.
Both additions implemented together might be too much I agree, but him being a tanky class shouldn't make any difference.
Compare it to Mechs with 400? Armour Chomper already has 225.
Give Chomper a Mech suit then that gives him 400 health, range firepower too.
Perfect balance if you ask me, why can it be so for one side and not the other?

The main difference with mech is that you don't always have it available for one.
I thought more about the frequently suggested 200 health for chomper with maybe a 30% damage reduction for both swallowing and burrowing.
