The spinning daisy flower of loading now taunts me. Sniff ☹️ When I load into maps I am roughly 30 seconds behind the start of the match. Pre patch loading from map to map or to a map I have previously played also takes a long time. My pc is running a solid state drive and my connection to other games I play isn't this slow ? In game there is no noticeable latency. My ping region Europe is 32. Any ideas ? Thanks
The game also loads slower for me after the patch, my loading used to be instantaneous for some things and only a few seconds for loading into the character selection screen. Now it takes like 30+ seconds to load into the character screen, even then it takes a few seconds to load the picture of the character and their rank. I don't remember it ever loaded that slow before the patch, my PC has top of the line hardware and all of my drivers are updated, my ping is about 18, so it can't be on my end.
I'm glad to see someone post this. I have long loading times after a new match starts. I get a black screen with a loading daisy. Sometimes I can hear other players moving. One time I joined a match that already started and I was waiting for the loading to finish and I got killed. As soon as the black loading screen finished I was dead.
I wish Pop Cap would acknowledge this.
I was worried to see that the game took longer to load and decided to actually redownloaded the whole thing and installed it on the SSD this time. To my surprise, the loading time was exactly the same and not a second faster. There seen to be some sort of check in delay while connecting to all the players.
I hope the "know" how to address this issue.
Getting this as well on xbox one. Prior to the last 1-2 days i was getting into matches extremely quickly, usually one of the first people to load in but it is getting extremely bad. This is on top of many other issues i have been encountering since the patch. Tried deleting the game and redownloading it entirely the other day and that didn't do a thing, if anything it just made things worse. I play with someone who streams and the last couple days i find myself watching them get into the game and play for up to a minute before i even load into the character select screen.
