Lost all progress in PVZ BFN since switching from Disc to PS+ versions

Summarize your bug PS4 Plants V Zombies BFN (free ps+ version) won’t recognize my saved data & progress etc (although my PlayStation still recognizes old achievements for this game) since it was free today on PS+. I rented the game from Redbox when it came out. I got the game from PS+ today it all my characters are at level 1 with no upgrades. I deleted all my local saved data and then replaced it from online storage downloads from (11/3/19-ish), still it resets everything. I also tried restarting my ps4 and still didn’t work. Any help anyone? I would prefer not to regain all the progress I made.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I guess you could try to replicate but you would need the CD version then delete it and download ps+ version after.

What upgrades had you equipped with this character? None, I lost all of them.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

@GodzScrtAgntTTV Wwanted to check if you still missing your game progress?
To check if you are using the same EA and PSN account for both copies of the game ( as long as you haven't done something like unlink accounts) your progress should be there. If it still is not I would recommend reaching out to an advisor to have them look further into your account.
