Multiple players help with Revive, but no XP?

@Iron_Guard8 Yes, multiple players reviving DEFINITELY speeds things up (the more doing it the quicker it gets) so it's a massive help if people do it. I remember it being discussed in the alpha but don't think it's explained very obviously in the game. I thought that the secondary revivers did get a very small amount of xp as well, but I could be wrong - they definitely should get some

I agree % xp is probably difficult but like both of you think you should get something! Please correct me if I'm wrong somebody, but I think this new feature of multiple people reviving comes at the expense of the healer's revival speed - certainly to me, reviving someone as a sunflower doesn't feel any quicker than doing it as a peashooter. And that means healers with their lower health are more vulnerable. I know you've got the circle radius to move around in, but I miss being able to jump revive to a safer position.
So I definitely think secondary revivers need a reward for helping. Will try & keep an eye out to check if this happens, maybe the xp is just classed as something less obvious, like an assist??

@Gormey It's not much better in turf. I've played sunflowers for years & unless I'm on a very good team against a very weak one, I'm used to getting 20-30 revives per match - I haven't hit double figures yet! I can only get a good number of revives if people help. Mine's maxed as well & with the upgrades you get great heals, but revives are a lot harder & I really dislike having to use an ugrade slot to allow me to jump at all while reviving, as using the heal burst makes you jump a little & it's 2nd nature to jump to try to avoid snipers.

@Gormey Yea the upgrade slot just to use jump or other abilities is stupid imo. But thats the only way to be a true healer.
People are also self conceited in this game holy peanutbutter. I often make top revive as a non-healer... with only 2-4 revives in turf takeover for peanutbutter’s sake. Funny thing is sometimes with 2 healers in my team -_- hell just this morning I had more healing as a darn Snapdragon than the healer in my team. I only ‘healed’ for 400something!

@ToastedSarnie I’ve seen the comment ‘healers don’t (seem to) heal any faster’ so many times and I’m like have you been healed or healed yourself often? I definitely notice it. It’s not like GW1/2 but it’s definitely there.

It doesn’t give you any exp for helping unfortunately but who needs exp when you can in the nick of time revive your teammate and kill that nosy SuperBrainz together! :P

@Koochi-Q No, I've always played PvZ as a fun team game. I like healing & support most of all & have never cared about my vanquish rate. I'm far more proud of my GW2 Stuffy hitting a million heals than my highest streak. I don't care about revive or heals xp for myself, but I keep hoping that more players will revive & play heals if there's greater reward. I also find all too often I get the boasts even when not playing heals & am very rarely healed myself unless with all the friends I've made BECAUSE we heal!
I find it so frustrating how undervalued the role is 😖

@Iron_Guard8 Noticed just now I got zero xp for being a secondary reviver. I'd revive anyway, I have "revive" set as a personal default, which drives some of my friends nuts when I'm not a healer, as they don't always like coming back on half health! But I think it might encourage more people if there was at least a little xp??
If it's difficult to % maybe it could be classed as "saving an ally" for which I think you get 21 xp? Not sure how much for an assist.
As a primary reviver you get 62 xp. Again, not a huge issue for me but not a great incentive for others when a vanquish is 127 (without streak bonus)

@ToastedSarnie I am with you on that front. I liked being sunflower in previous installments too but more that I could be an offensive healer. First I shoot you to death and then heal my teammate who just died next to me while I shoot their teammate to death! OP sunflower badass!!! XD

I did some testing and even when you initiate a revive right when someone else did it (so it’s not even at 1/10th of the circle) you don’t get any xp

You’re too used playing with ‘leveling faster’. I think only then it’s 62 exp cause I always have it on and get that. I think without it it’s 50 exp :P same with vanquish xD
