Mute all voice chat in PC version?

So true. This open mic **bleep** is annoying. I don't want to sit here and listen to it, much less contribute to it with my own mic.

please, mute all by default.  

lobby > have to mute

in game > have to mute again

after the game > have to mute a 3rd time

and it repeats!

Everytime someone new joins your team they will not be muted if you already toggled everyone else.  You will constantly have to mute everyone all the time.  This was an issue I had with the Xbox One version as well.

ya, it gets extremly annoying when you mute all, then a second later another player joins with MIC. can't popcap make an update to mute all chat voices as default? plz make it happen

Typical EA fashion.  Who the hell runs their quality control department?  Did anyone notice or question "Hey, why default open mic"?  For the first 10 minutes it got really annoying hearing third world countries eat breakfast or dinner while playing this game.  What is wrong with that company?  This is typical development 101 stuff.  Very sad.

LOL! I think I've heard a daughter and a father having a fight, while the daughter was playing... I think my head exploded. And for the most part, all of the other lobby members had **bleep** wind turbine inside their microphone. If you can't afford a decent headset - mute yourself. Problem is there is no such option! Such a shame

there must be an option in the option menu, it cant be that i have always to press tab to mute all, i tryed in the morning to play on midnight EU time and there was so many peoples with TV and crying children it was anoying and boring because i had to mute my pc, the voice chat is too load and mute all dont mute peoples who enter to the game after muting all ........ please do an option also to set volume for voice chat for example from 0 to 100%, voice chat was 100% and ingame sound was only 20% for me it was very painfull to play online ... if i like to watch tv or hear tv i dont play videogames ...and if i like to listen to load crying childs i go to  baby station in the hospital, dont need to play then too ^^

Just an option under the AUDIO menu to mute mics period.  Players can toggle at their convenience, but I'm tired of hearing the screeching feedback from some players mics.
