My kid lost access to the game we bought.

We bought PVZ Neighborville years ago, and my kid has played that game online more than any other game on the Switch, over 300 hours. All of a sudden he can’t play online anymore. He is over 10, so he should be able to, but it won’t even give the option to login to an EA account anymore, just refuses to connect. I am very frustrated that he put hundreds of hours and tons of work into a game we paid a lot of money for and suddenly he can’t play anymore. What gives??? Because I would not have paid full price for this game for him if he wasn’t able to pay it, so at the moment I’m feeling robbed to be honest.
