Any Future?
Hi EA, I know you get posts like these asking for GW3 or remaster of the older games. My question is wondering if there are any new installments on the PVZ franchise separate from the mobile audience. While I understand that mobile users are making you a lot of money, I think a new fully fledged game with the resources you have for console/PC without any advertised paid transactions (PVZ2) for easier progression (like garden warfare series but it doesn't have to be a shooter). That could be sold for a flat price for players to get full experience (assuming no DLC). And we all know the stereotype of "greedy EA", I think a fully fledged PVZ game that isn't catered for the younger/mobile audience and more focused on loyal fans that have been fans for the creativity and joy that people had with the older games. We see this work time and time again that lead to major profits for companies that make sequels/new games in their personal style that sets them apart from the rest with no catering towards mobile and micro-transactions to make a quick buck. All the community wants is a real game to play with the characters and world that we grew up with. I write out of hope respect (I know that this is a long shot and if you see this there is nothing you can really do) for all of EA and their employees, if nothing happens, nothing happens. Thanks for the memories OWL P.S. PVZ Heros is very thankful for the updates :)Old account
I had an old account for plants Vs zombies garden warfare 2 on playstation from 2020 and I have since moved to Xbox as my playstation broke I am struggling to get my data back as I had almost completed the game and had every character unlocked with lots of game time spent on it but I have changed emails but I still cannot receive emails from EA for some reasonAny plans for a Switch port for GW2?
I've been playing GW2 for awhile, which is the only PVZ title I mostly play on, I realized that the game is not even on Nintendo Switch (besides BFN), If EA can do so, Could we get a Nintendo Switch port for GW2? Maybe GW1 as well? And yes, I do know optimization is a pain in the **bleep** for a "portable handheld" device, and the only thing I would suggest if EA will do it is if they reduce textures, vfx, 30 fps cap, basically the average Switch port you'd expect.I, Zombie?
To Update or Not to Update? I did start a fire. Don’t Hunger Games it… Well.. I guess this is the perfect time for some things to be said… Torchwood, Rux, Infinity Time. Time repeats itself? anyways.. I’m toast. Do you. Dont do matches. i can’t help but notice.. Some servers are just not doing that thing. Doing the work. 🧑💻🏜️🆙 Community Chest? Some ‘love’ anyways, no ai. And also Infinity Time Names. ✋👀🤚 some glitches.. should be kept. 😤 for the nostalgia they know the rest.. yes, they do. 🙏PLEASE FIX Battle For Neighborville on Nintendo Switch 2!!
I have been trying to play PvZ: Battle For Neighborville on my new Nintendo Switch 2 for the past 2-3 days and it CONSTANTLY keeps crashing!! When I load into the game, while in Giddy Park, my screen starts glitching and flickering super bad it is very bad to look at and hurts my eyes. When I try loading into an offline match of any mode the game crashes almost 100% of the time. It will close the app and my Nintendo Switch 2 will say, “This software needed to close due to an error.” Then when I go back in and try a different mode, it does the SAME THING. I don’t understand why we can’t just play the game. You guys are literally losing out on money if you don’t fix this. We need the game officially optimized for the Nintendo Switch 2, and while you’re at it, you could even update it to handle 60fps because the Switch 2 can now handle 60fps pretty smooth. Also I have heard from some other people that apparently Battle For Neighborville isn’t even AVAILABLE for purchase on the Switch 2 eShop. They locked the game so no one can buy it, hopefully that means they’re going to fix it? But I would still like someone from EA to get back to me and let me know what the situation is. PLEASE HELP! Thanks EDIT: After doing a bit more testing it’s actually worse than I thought, there were a few times where I went into the game and it would crash before I could even select a GAME MODE. Also, the few times I was able to play an entire match while the screen was flashing, as soon as the game ended, the game just crashed. Nothing I could do about it. This game DEFINITELY needs fixed. If you want to see a video or clip of these glitches happening I also saw a YouTube video from a YouTuber by the name of RiceDRW. To: Electronic Arts (EA) Leadership and PopCap Games Development Team Subject: Community Request for the Revival of Live Service Content for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 Dear EA and PopCap Teams, We, the dedicated and active community of Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 (GW2), are writing to you to formally request the revival of the game's live service content, including the return of its rotational events, character updates, and previously limited-time content. Despite the game no longer receiving major new content, its player base has seen significant resurgences, particularly following recent sales. This proves that the game still holds immense appeal and has a strong, ready-made audience eager for official support. Here are the primary reasons why reviving GW2's live content would be a massive win for the community and a smart investment: 1. The Value of Returning Events and Updates The game's original events were key to its sustained success and replayability. Bringing them back would instantly revitalize the game's social and competitive aspects: Town Hall Events and Mystery Portals: These rotating game modes (like Boss Hunts, Capture the Taco, and Cats vs. Dinos) offered fresh, fun experiences and kept players logging in daily. Restoring a consistent, rotating schedule for these modes would immediately increase engagement. Community Challenges: The original community challenges (via the Progress-o-meter) were excellent motivators for collaborative play, giving the entire player base a common goal and a sense of shared accomplishment, which is vital for community health. Seasonal Content: Reintroducing the classic seasonal events like Lawn of Doom (Halloween) and Feastivus (Christmas) would tap into holiday excitement and offer a nostalgic return to fun, themed cosmetics and challenges. 2. The Demand for Limited-Time Characters and Content A core frustration for newer or returning players is the permanent unavailability of certain legendary items and characters. Restoring access to this content would reward the dedicated player base: Rux's Inventory Refresh: The in-game vendor Rux sold unique character pieces, customizations, and abilities for a limited time. A consistent, weekly or monthly rotation of Rux's stock—even if it is old content—is critical for players to complete their collections. Limited-Time Character Variants: Characters such as the Unicorn Chomper (a loyalty reward from GW1) and the Z7 Imp (a deluxe edition bonus) are still highly coveted. While some limited characters require special consideration, finding a way to make them available, even temporarily or through a difficult new challenge, would be celebrated by the community. 3. A Low-Cost, High-Impact Investment Compared to developing a brand-new title, restoring and maintaining GW2's existing content rotation is a relatively low-effort investment for a huge return in player goodwill and activity. Technical Simplicity: The content, maps, and modes already exist within the game's code. This is not a request for new characters or maps, but simply the re-implementation of the existing event rotation system. Long-Term Community Loyalty: Showing this level of support for a classic game would be a powerful demonstration of listening to your fans, which could translate into stronger loyalty for future PvZ and EA titles. We sincerely believe that by restoring these core rotational systems and re-activating the fan-favorite events, you can significantly and efficiently boost player retention and overall excitement for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. Thank you for your time and consideration of this request. Sincerely, The Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 CommunityPVZ GW2 NEED RETURN EA

Whenever I try to log in, the game tells me to upgrade to a teen account (I haven't played in years, I don't know if this issue is new,) but when I try to enter my email, it just takes me back to the screen where I need to accept the user agreement and privacy and cookies policy. I have GW2 on my PC, so it's not a huge deal, but I used to play this game a lot and I wanted to try it out again.Experiencing multiple bugs across pvz games
On pvz gw2 (pc) I, like many, can't join my friend. No matter what I try his game will crash after he tries to join me. Is there any known workarounds or anywhere I can properly report this. On pbz bfn (switch) I am unable to get 100% on the first single player map as ops stays at 2/3 no matter what i do. I ahead done the missions required many times it just never counts. Please can someone help me or ea please fix your games.
