My progress in Garden Warfare 2 isn't saving.

EA_Cath​ Hey sorry for the ping, I have seen that you are active on the forum so I thought about you. I am exactly in the same situation as he is. I just bought the game too as I loved the first version when I was young. But even without playing multiplayer my game just restarts from the beginning all the time when I start it again. Do you know if this have been reported yet ? I saw a lot of people talking about it so I assume this isnt from me but the servers ? 
It would be nice to get some real updates to this wonderful game... 
Please let me know, I think that I will just refund it if it really doesnt work but I was hoping to me able playing it.

The last week I encounter almost every game the infuriating problem that when my game of turf takeover is over and my coins will be added to my balance and my progress gets saved. I almost always get disconnected back to the backyard. I keep my coins but I lost around 20 levels of progress.

It's good to see that I'm not the only one having this issue. I bought GW2 from epic games due to the current discount. I can play the game online, but when I decide to play the campaign it simply does not save my progress. I hope they fix it ASAP

"In the Backyard Battleground, access the Multiplayer Portal, open the region settings, and manually change your region (for example, from North America East to North America West or Europe). Play a quick public match or join an online lobby, then return to the Backyard Battleground. This forces the EA server to actively retrieve and refresh your profile data from a different server node." It worked for me, and I hope it also work for you!

So I bought the game last week and the first couple of days of playing the game was fine till I started to notice my quest progression and levels for my characters aren't saving. I did all of Rose's quests and received her wrapped dragon accessory. When I exited the game and relaunched it, all of the quests for Rose have been set back as if I didn't do them. Same with my levels and exp. When I gain a level from one of my characters, it sets it back to the level before I gained the exp. I used the globe to manually save my progress but it didn't do anything. I tried turning off my steam cloud saving and it kind of helped? I verified the integrity of the files and there was nothing wrong. I reinstalled the game and nothing changed, I cleared the cache for the EA app and repaired it. I really want to play the game without worrying about my progress not saving. Any solutions?

wow brilliant solution! Instead of EA handling the hacking and technical issues themselves, they're asking us to accept the situation. And the problem is, all the servers are down all the time!

If by any chance someone frome ea sees this thread could you please fix this bug for me too? I dont want to promote one character constantly beacause it feels like dirty money.

It was brilliant until it stopped working lol. And I can't even ask for refund. I'm tired of losing my mind over this, never buying a single game from ea in my life again, so disappointing.

Hey everyone, thank you for the reports. We'll pass on the info to the teams regarding saves issues and missing progress and we'll let you know when we have more information.
