Watermelon-slow
-does high damage A.E. attacks
-attacks are launched via catapult so bullets arc
-you can see a dotted line that represents where the bullet will land and how it will arc
-you can adjust accordingly to get it to where you need to go
-because of the bullets inherent arc a lot more focus must go into aiming
-but this also means your bullets can be lobbed over some terrain were other classes would not have a clear shot
Ability 1
Melon rain- arc is a straight line going down
-you move it via turning joystick
-can only go a certain distance out from your character
-when you fire a storm of melons rains down it that area
-melons are your bullets
Ability 2
Juicy Melon Roll- your character pulls out a giant melon and rolls on it
-when rolling over zombies they get squished
-being squished deals damage and takes time for the squished zombie to get up (like being caught in the weeds from GW1)
-this melon is so juicy that it leaves behind a trail of juice on the ground
-zombies that are on the trail move slowly as if they have bin gooped
-however they can still jump and use their abilities
-when rolling on a melon you cannot stop in place or slow down
-if you crash into a wall or level hazard the melon you are riding on blows up doing damage to zombies around you and ending your ability
Ability 3
Extra seeds- when this ability is activated all the bullets fired shoot seeds upon exploding
-these seeds do additional damage to anyone caught in the explosion
-they could also potentially hit zombies outside the initial explosion radius

Quick Melon rain- ability recharges faster
-it always rains down in your area so you don’t have to aim
Ability 1 Substitution 2
Tactical Cuke- you no longer have visual on your character (like doing a drone)
-you have a birds eye view of the map (like crazy dave from GW1)
-you move the crosshairs to the area on the map you want to land the tactical cuke
-the tactical cuke slowly falls down from the sky giving zombies who spot it a chance to flee
-the tactical cuke blows up before it hits the ground and rains melons down from the explosion
-this covers a wider area and sends more melons then the average melon rain
Ability 2 Substitution 1
Ice cube- unlock with winter melon
-once unlocked however can be assigned to other variants
-when sliding on an ice cube you do the same things that you would when rolling on a melon but with a few differences
-zombies that walk on your trail get an ice effect (being slowed with a chance of being frozen)
-there are noticeable signs that others can use to see if your ability times out
-your ice cube melts
-if you crash your ice cube doesn’t blow up rather you get knocked off and your cube stays where you got knocked off of it until it melts
Ability 2 Substitution 2
Burning melon roll- unlock with summer melon
-once unlocked however can be assigned to other variants
-leaves behind a trail of fire
-gives zombies burning effect when they walk on your trail
-when a zombie is walking on a burning trail they get hurt separately from the D.O.T. effect
-if it blows up it does D.O.T. to those caught in the explosion
Ability 2 Substitution 3
Abyss melon roll- unlock with shadow melon
-once unlocked however can be assigned to other variants
-doesn’t blow up
-doesn’t have a trail
-can stop and slow down
-the first zombie you crash into makes your melon disappear
-and the zombie is left unrevivable
Side Note- There are more variants like toxic melon but these variants are the only ones that come with a new ability sub
Ability 3 Substitution 1
Frag Melons- ability takes longer to recharge
-when this ability is activated when your melons explode they burst into smaller frag melons
-these frag melons then have explosions of their own
Ability 3 Substitution 2
Sticky seed burst- a counter is next to your ability icon
-this counter goes up by 5 for each melon fired
-when using the ability you launch a field of seeds around you
-the number of seeds that are launched around you is equivalent to the number displayed next to your ability
-when a zombie steps on one of the seeds they are stunned for a third of a second
Jester Zombie-is fast
-has low ammo
-attacks via bomb roll
-this attack uses the terrain and game physics
-it can bounce of walls, roll down hills, etc.
-when a plant is nearby it blows up
Ability 1
Jack in the box- throws a jack in the box (similar to scientists sticky explody ball)
-can stick to walls, but not players
-the arms of the jack in the box reach out and grab nearby plants to pull them in to the box
-it hurts the plant and then drops them down
-then has to wind itself up before it is ready to repeat
Ability 2
Boom!- you destroy yourself
-a sudden explosion instakills all plants within the blast
Ability 3
Mach Tornado- you spin around until you form a big tornado
-you cannot move when doing this
-all bullets fired into the tornado get shot back at their sender (like the jester zombies from PVZ2)
-Plants that run into the tornado are spun around the tornado and blown away (unless they are burrowed)
Ability 1 Substitution 1
Cursed Jack in the box- does less damage then the regular
-if you taunt around it then it’s damage will increase (it stacks)
Ability 1 Substitution 2
Durable Jack in the box- when its health bar gets lowered it will start to heal itself
-when it heals itself it will go a little bit past its max health each time
-this means if you don’t finish it off it will come back stronger
Ability 2 Substitution 1
Jack in the bomb- you give your jack in the box bomb to a summon zombie
-that summon zombie then goes into a group of plants and then blows up damaging itself and the plants for 100 damage
-if the game you are playing has no summon zombies in it then you summon a jack in the box zombie (which is like a browncoat but it has an explosive jack in the box)
Ability 2 Substitution 2
Present Box- you bury a jack in the box
-then you hold the button for that ability to wind it up
-it is practically invisible because you buried it but when you wind it plays music
-when it is finished winding the jack springs out of the ground and blows up all the plants in the area
-100 damage
-can be winded remotely
-you can’t move when winding
Ability 3 Substitution 1
Static Tornado- you create the tornado but you don’t stay in it
-you are free to move around while the tornado deflects bullets
Ability 3 Substitution 2
Tornado drone- you guide the tornado like a drone
-while your character remains motionless
