GermanShu just-released video where he is showcasing the new plant! OP support character probably. So there is a chance it will release in June! Everything with the plant is done! Only sounds and ability pictures are missing. If she looks so cute like this, imagine her with some legendary costume!

@Pheesley I heartily agree on all points. Frozen Citrons and Arctic Troopers were extremely annoying to fight against in GW2 and Mei is not only annoying in OW, she was even more annoying to her own team! Having those 'teammates' that would put their ice wall up directly in front of the starting area doors just as the match starts was oh so helpful and amusing for the 1000th time /s.
But most of the other ice characters in GW1 and 2 weren't as bad and watching the video, she won't be as obnoxious as Mei; it looks like you can move through the shield (at least iceberg can, I presume other plants can too, maybe zombies can't though), she can't do that right click insta-death snipe thing Mei has in OW either, so I don't think she'll be bad, but we'll have to see.
Man reading all this, I'm glad I left OW for good, BfN needs work for sure, but at least it doesn't have garbage like Mei.
@Iron_Guard8 What is Mei? And Iceberg Lettuce CAN"T freeze opponents simply by shooting them like in GW2. Or slow-down.
She seems to be a fairly decent character. I like the idea of shots that linger in midair to make passage tougher. I do hope her design has a bit more detail later on, but she's still in development, so I'm sure she'll look much different in practice.
I wouldn't bet on her coming out until July at the earliest, though.
@aikohu I haven't watched the video as I am avoiding these kind of things now.... we have had many of them in the past...
berry brigade for instance, all the info on Ops Phase 3 etc... but none of them have come to pass (so far) and all it does for me is raise expectations for them to be dashed while other things are added. I'm not really sure it is of benefit to access these things before they release them... as some may or may not ever come to pass.
I shall wait and see what they actually do add before getting too excited about anything or indeed commenting on classes.
Have my fingers firmly crossed that we see a new plant class soon whatever it may be... maybe next prize map as people are suggesting 🤞 🙂

I was replying to Pheesly's comment, Mei was a super annoying character in OW that uses ice and from the footage Iceberg isn't going to a be problem like Mei is in that game thankfully. We don't actually know if she'll have the GW freeze effect yet but I'm pretty sure she won't be anywhere near as bad as frozen citron. I'm looking forward to this character being added to BfN for sure.
I loved her!! She is so cute and I'm really looking forward for this character! Also, I don't think she'll have the annoying ice effect of GW1 and GW2 but I wouldn't mind it, the zombies can deal with it. Again, looking foward for my ice baby.
