No More damn stickers!!

I've played so much of this game (too much to admit because it's embarrassing) and being a completist is driving me crazy.
How are there so many collectibles but only two, maybe one and sometimes NONE are dropped in the damn sticker packs?

what's the point of dropping none? I would hate to know how many millions of in-game coins I've spent trying to get everything. It's ridiculous.
I get that they want people to keep playing but I'm actually not playing this game because of the stickers...I just might as well still collect while I'm playing.

and why are there silver, gold, diamond etc versions of the same thing?
I would still play this game even without collecting stuff I'm never going to use so I really hope if there's a third they stop the insanity.

Also, what are the codes for the stickers.

Most of the ones I'm missing are labeled as CP# for instance CP419

One is labeled Rux16 which I assume I have to get from Rux..but what does CP stand for and how do I just end this foolishness?

CP stands for Community Portal.  Meaning you can get that missing sticker item through and only a Community Portal event.  And those events, usually happen....what?  once a month? or once every two months?

I am right there with you.  Im missing about 100+ stickers and it drop rates are extremely frustrating.  That is why, at this point, coins really dont mean anything to me, its all about filling in those missing blocks from the sticker book.  The Portal events where they say the pay out is a "Legendary item" - it is actually not true for high rank players. High rank players who meet the CP minimum quota, will only get coins.  That is why, when the RED chest is labeled as "Special item" - I actually prefer that, than coins, rather than the bogus "Legendary item" prize.

At this point, I have given up analyzing on what the actual EA/PopCap metrics looks like.  It is so random that there really is no science to it.

I just grind for my weekly 50 rainbow stars for the 3 item chest.  Then do it again for the 30 rainbow star chest, ... then the 10 rainbow star chest.

Then, grind another 50 in preparation for the following week's chest.

    Thats what? 140 rainbow stars.

For you and other high rank players, Its all about the grind for rainbow stars.

I'm lucky I'm not collector or perfectionist.

I see so many frustrations in this department. This definitely needs to change for future GW3.

If you put promotional packs for these stickers (like the infinite packs) Even if they cost 500,000 I would appreciate it very much.

I only bother with rainbow stars when the portal isn't a boss hunt or cats vs whatever it is. I'm glad you let me know what CP stands for. Not a chance in hell i'm wasting my time for 400 more stickers!

It's really frustrating though because I play the game regardless

Don't feel bad, most of us have clocked over 1000 hours on this sticker book. Quite a bit more time than just hitting 5455. (*sigh* I miss the simplicity of GW1.) I also am a completionist so I understand how you feel, though I am a ways away from having to worry about low drop rates. (1000+ from completion)

What I want before this game is left on permanent auto pilot like GW1 is a Super Amazing Stupendous Pack. (Yeah, they have a weird naming scheme.) Anyway, for XXX coins you get ~2-5 stickers (pack size negotiable) that can be ANYTHING you don't have. That means RUX, IT, CP, Holiday, CC and regular. The price WILL be more than earning them individually but still fair. (Right, Popcap? You would never be unfair in pricing would you?) The only things not there are the deluxe upgrades and Unicorn Chomper. Once the game is thrown into auto pilot everyone should have the right to a complete stickerbook. It will cost coins but at least it is possible. GW1 has a real issue with this, since none of the Holiday or Community items can ever be earned again. GW2 has even more "event" specific items to obtain. So yeah, new sticker pack that can drop anything the player is missing. (This also means there would never be any consumables in the packs.)

Wait until you're really close to finishing the sticker book (excluding RUX, IT and CP).  Getting one sticker from a 35K pack feels like winning the lottery.
