When playing PS4 multiplayer 'ops' mode in PvZGW2, no music plays unless you are the host. This really ruins the atmosphere! Found another musicglitch, added it to the OP. Issue so far is being ignored on the forums and twitter. Come on EA, at least ACKNOWLEDGE Graveyard/Garden Ops is broken. Listen to us!

Yes! Thank you, this has been bugging me to death over the past few weeks. Honestly makes me less inclined to play Ops. It NEEDS to be fixed asap!

No sound in MP ops mode!

It's an annoying little bug that's been around since launch. (Basically, you need to be in the lobby before Ops launches or no music for you.) I hate not being able to hear the wacky music in the majority of Ops games I join. Hopefully, this bug gets dealt with in the upcoming patch next week.
I'd love to hear a confirmation if this is the case.

Had the issue as well but after the last update I suddenly had music joining midgame, even though its not mentioned in the patchnotes. Only been a few matches though so I'm not entirely sure its fixed entirely.
