Not getting the Uplink Bot

You've got to spend lots and lots of coins to get the good bots.  It's just RNG and they have very low drop rates.  You'll be able to get all you want from the turret packs when the boss hunt starts.  Save your coins.

Boss hunt? Is that a point in the game where I choose the item I wish to purchase? 

Also, yeah, I know it’s random but the amount of packs I’ve purchased without getting it is ridiculous, especially since I have no trouble getting Bamboo shoots which should have the same probability. 

I believe that next week is the Brothers Gnomus boss hunt.  The calendar has not been updated for some reason.  During these events, special consumable packs are available for whichever faction is played in that particular hunt.  Bros Gnomus is for zombies.  These contain good quantities of the best pots and bots, and are one of the best values in the entire game.  I recommend saving up your coins for these.  I usually buy about 1M coins worth, which sets me up for a good long time.

Correction - the boss hunt started today.  You've got until Sunday to spend as many coins as you can afford and get all the good zombie bots you need.

I should note that I don’t pay for the PlayStation Network. So if that was an online thing that I wasn’t going to do it anyway. I’m going to try playing on someone else’s account to see if he has the same problem because the absence of the uplink bot has gotten beyond the point of ”bad luck”
