Not This Again - Boss Turf Takeover

I'm still waiting for them to have Weekly PvE Challenges instead of PvP, with these Modes that no one seems to like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This was the first time I liked having small teams in TT. I got all the challenges pretty quickly but there were never more than 3 or 4 players per team so there wasn't a mini Battle Royal for the chest. And once I got my chest I could help teammates get theirs or  I could focus on the objective while everyone else was scrambling to open a new chest. On the other hand, there were a few games that were way out of balance skill wise and once the opposing team got the bosses it was pretty much game over. 

This event seems to have the same weekly challenges as last time this event was released back a couple of months ago. These don't seem like particularly easy challenges, but I'll give my best tips anyway 🙂. 

1. Open a Boss Chest. This one may sound easy - but it seems to mostly come down to luck. If you know where a boss chest appears in a specific part of a map, then it may help because you'll know where to look for it. Obviously, there is a cooldown involved before the chest can be opened. So, spend that time getting to the chest and prepare to battle opponents as they may contest the chest. Then, take action as soon as it can be opened, because you may have other people contesting to open the chest. You may have opponents firing at you as you try to open the boss chest, so being a shield defense character (like Citron or All-Star) might help as you can defend yourself as you're opening the chest. High health characters (like Oak or the Imp's Mech) may help as well because of increased survivability. Either way, you want to keep a lookout for opponents as you're opening the chest. Generally, you have to stray away from the objective to do it, but if desiring the Rainbow Stars, it will have to be completed. 

2. Vanquish a Boss. This one is easy - but not - at the same time! It's really easy to get this challenge because you don't have to do too much damage against the boss, the bosses are easier to hit than most other characters and shared vanquishes count for this challenge (which you could do about 10% of the damage and probably still get it). However, this relies on your opponent's team opening the boss chest and then the boss actually having to be vanquished before the game is over. Attack characters are probably most highly suggested by me for this challenge because they generally do more damage than other classes. All-Star is probably good as well, as he has a shield and has high damage at all ranges. This challenge is probably more time-consuming than anything, because your opponents have to open the chest and you actually have to vanquish the boss before the game is over. You may be able to swap teams if possible if helps you out with this challenge, to speed it up (if your team keeps taking the chest). I don't condone team switching!

3. Win 5 matches. More time-consuming than the other challenges, but the most worthwhile as fully completing it gives 40 rainbow stars! Really, all you can do is to play as much as possible, stay near the objective, try and protect yourself, teammates and the objective, to increase your odds of winning. It may still be worth trying to open the boss chest, so your opponent's team can't get the boss. It could also increase odds of winning as well. You may be able to join in the middle of a game in a lobby and you may happen to win that game. Team switching could work too, but I don't condone it. Using a healer may be an effective idea in this event, you can heal yourself, teammates and bosses on your team! This challenge is not particularly hard to get, but more time-consuming!

Hey. technically we don't delete stuff, we just put it in a hidden subforum. It's not a fun place and contains all the terrible posts that the team here have to remove every day.

In any case we wouldn't remove it, as it's a perfectly legitimate thread with content we don't want cast to The Bad Place, but if you want it to be locked *snap* it's done. :D
