PC Mushroom

PvZ PC release date. I was so excited for PvZ release date to be nailed down as Spring 2014. That is laser precise and specifically vague. I do not understand why game developers put such constraints on themselves with such precise release dates. Does the consumer really have a right to such information? Really the release date should just be, sometime in 2014. Maybe. If you are lucky. Already prepaid PvZ? Sucker. Are you developers trying to kill PvZ PC before it is released? One word. STUPID.

Sorry for any frustration caused. Once we have more info on any upcoming releases, we'll be sure to let everyone know.

You have my full agreement. The Xbox versions were released a month ago and have received a DLC. I hope that people give as much attention to this problem as they are to the 7000+ other huge problems with this game. I hope that the PC version compensates for all the Xbox's problems I have been hearing about.

For a moment I thought this was about a playable mushroom character... Too bad. Anyhow, I'm pretty sure Xbox secured an exclusivity window and that might be why the PC release date has not been revealed yet.

It's called a TIMED EXCLUSIVE, and it's something that is paid extra to secure in order to further the sales of the console!! This is funny though, all these PC fanboys crying because they want a console game. How the mighty hath fallen 😉

You realize PvZ is a PC franchise first yes? Also the Xbox One is x86 based, therefore what was developed on PC was then ported to there, and then 360. Only reason it isn't out on PC is like was mentioned, a timed exclusive.

We simply want a proper release date, it isn't about fanboyism, it's about treating all of your customers fairly. Having all 3 versions out would not have impacted console version sales, if anything they should have delayed it on 360 in order to boost Xbox One

It really isn't unusual to name a release date 2-3 weeks before shipping the game. The only games that have a sure date are Street Dated games, IE the ones your game retailer is hiding in the back claiming they don't have. I personally, can't blaim them. Imagine if you will what would happen if an exact date was given and for any reason pushed back? Would be worse than nothing at all.

If it is not ready, it is not ready. There is no need for a daily thread here, on gamefaqs or reddit asking for a date. The game will be out eventually, and until then there is Goat Simulator. Now if you'll excuse me, there is realistic goat fun to be had.

If it's any consolating the game, balance-wise, is currently borderline unplayable. The only thing you are missing is frustration until the devs crack down on several key issues.

Let me guess, you're tired of getting wrecked by plumbers and peashooters right? It's not about balance, it's about what the majority of people play. Peashooters and Plumbers are both heavy on splash damage and can spam the hell out of an area, it's just the way it is. There are really no balance issues in the game aside from some of the G&G maps being a bit more friendly to one side, there are friendly zombie maps and friendly plant maps, the game is amazing and one of the best i've played in YEARS so please don't give people the wrong impression.
