When I try to start Plants vs zombies, I always get the same error message. It says I haven't activated the game, even though I was able to play it normally on Origin. I also have some ingame time. Any way to fix this?
Nothing yet. Got tired of waiting and bought it on steam.
Even after 2 months, this problem is not yet resolved. Seriously what are they doing?

Also, previously i could boot up origin and play that way, or at least activate through that and play on EA app, but not anymore. Any more ideas?

Just found out about this bug today. Really annoying that EA is being EA and hasn't done anything to fix this since June (who would've thought huh).

Hi EA, any fix please? I have the same issue despite being online and correctly logged in to ea play, other games work etc. I also suspect it's some kind of mismatch where they've not upgraded standard edition to GOTY license equivalent. If we don't have standard available online with EA play then it needs adding into the library otherwise please update all standard keys to GOTY valid. Thanks!
