I bought a gold membership for this exact same reason last year on xbox 360, then waited weeks to see if the server would fix and nothing. contacted ea support on Twitter and it felt like I was talking to a robot. i think they just dont care and the servers are broken. its a shame because i wanted to take some photos of my old items and emotes

Absolutely appalling that this is how EA treats their old games
