plants vs zombies garden warfare 2 Split screen problem

I'm playing with my son using split screen and two Microsoft profiles. Hence to this I can save my achievements and collect coins... however when I buy or won some cards I cannot redeem from internal "shop". I see symbol of rotating flower but it is endless. And I cannot back using B. 

There is no problem to buy one set and open it "automatically", but when I have few I received something from Chest there is no possibility to pres Y and redeem it. 

Any idea?
