Hi,
Can you list the system specs? Start->DXDIAG->Save All Info... You don't need to post me the entire thing but a good portion of the top. When it starts looking like complete gibberish you can stop copying it. First 100 lines maybe?
You could just give me the model # of the laptop and i'll google it. It'll be on the bottom. Make sure you get the whole thing exmaple: GS### -- ##### Not serial number, Model of the laptop. Desktop.. .probably better stick with DXDIAG but sure model can't hurt I guess.

im going to respond here that i am having the same issue and in my own thread since im really not positive i seem to be having the same type of issues for me i can do pretty much everything but the actual game before i start hitting latency or fps issues or...SOMETHING...i think i have a fairly decent computer ill post my stats in my own thread but im thinking there is something with server stability or something going on here

Fraps will display an on screen FPS counter.
You don't have to do anything with the settings, just open it and open the game.
I do not know if this game has an FPS counter in it's setting's or not yet as I do not have it.
i have vary bad lag too. my graphic card is AMD7990HD.

I would not suggest using Fraps (or any other FPS counter for that matter) with this game, as it will conflict with the Origin overlay and cause more frame rate issues.
In order to see the FPS it would be better to use the built-in FPS counter by pressing Left CTRL+R.

thats weird i have a 7970 and its super smooth for me on ultra. Solid 60fps on vsync. I am using latest beta drivers from amd and also you can try using mantle instead on dx11 see if it helps 🙂

Thanks for the tip about L-CTL + R!! I didn't know, haven't played the game yet.
On the contrary I would suggest not using Origin In Game :P :P. L-CTL+R is the best answer for FPS if it works.
Origin -> App Settings -> Origin In Game -> uncheck

If you're having the "stuttering" issue... Everyone else has it too it's a problem within the game. Nothing to do but wait for a fix.

I am having the exactly same problem, here goes some extra information.
As op said, in options is alright ( about 30 fps with built in fps counter )
on characters screem or in game it goes to 8 FPS on LOW and 5 FPS on ULTRA.
Already unchecked origin in game.
I can run BF 3 Fine.
On character screem or in game processor usage goes from 50% to 90% ( its an I-5 )
In game video options shows GRAPHICS API = Direct 3D 11 ( and I cant changes, so I don't think its not using my GPU )
Drivers updated.

You have a 6630m (used Device Key to tell)
There is some cards that it's comparable too (some little higher some little lower) and benchmarks in BF4. This game uses the same engine so I think it's comparable.
----
I would suggest setting everything to low.
Run at a reduced Resolution (1366x768 for example)
----
This is pretty "experimental" and I doubt most of these settings even work (i.e. do anything)... but try it
Open Notepad.
Copy and Paste this:
RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 1
PerfOverlay.DrawGraph 0
PerfOverlay.DrawFps 1
PostProcess.DofMethod 0
PostProcess.BlurMethod 0
PostProcess.DynamicAOEnable 0
PostProcess.DynamicAOMethod 0
GameTime.MaxVariableFps 60
Render.VSyncFlashTestEnable 0
WorldRender.TransparencyShadowmapsEnable 0
WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0
WorldRender.MotionForceOn 0
WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapEnable 0
WorldRender.SpotlightShadowmapResolution 256
WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable 0
RenderDevice.Dx11Enable 0
RenderDevice.Dx11Dot1Enable 0
RenderDevice.Dx11Dot1RuntimeEnable 0
RenderDevice.VSyncEnable 0
RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 0((I have no clue how many of those are actually being read... I know for a fact some are though))
Save it as "user.cfg"
You cannot have user.cfg.txt enable "View Extentions" from Folder Options in Control Panel
Put it in your PvZ directory
\\Origin Games\Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare
-----------------
PROF_SAVE_profile in
C:\Users\<user>\Documents\PVZ Garden Warfare\settings
Is where I turn my attention to next... Open with notepad
Some that jump out at me, they might already be off.
GstRender.UndergrowthQuality 0
GstRender.MeshQuality 0
GstRender.EffectsQuality 0
------------------------------------
You could try going to Catalyst (driver software).
Change 3D Prefences Textures to Performance or High Performance.
------------------
CPU Unpark has been used in BF4 for a long time, good responses.

Core-Parking-Utility RAMMap -> Clear Standby (probably does nothing of value)

700229.aspx I don't think we are going to get it playing great, but with a little luck that might be able to boost your FPS.
