Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare how to turn automatic fire off?

Hi when I am playing PVZ GW footsoldier/allstar/sunflower (on my PC) the firing is always in auto mode. From the gett start they blast away and I can't stop it. Is there a setting somewhere I can use to turn this off or is this the way it should be working?

While the rifle of the Zombie soldier is always toggled to autofire, you should be able to tap-fire the weapon instead of shooting all rounds through with one click. Am I right that you are not able to control the fire at all by tapping the left mouse button and could you please tell us which mouse you are using?

    Cheers

    Hi,

I am using a Logitech mouse model B110, and already tried it with a different mouse but without any change.

The problem is as you describe it, autofire is always on and clicking with the left mouse button does not give me single shots. The only thing that changes the situation is when I press Alt or Esc, then the weapon fires one time. But this is not a good solution because the mutiplayer menu pops up when I hit Alt and the Options menu appears when I hit Esc.
