Hi everyone, the only thing that works is installing the game in English. (It worked for me.)

What a shame, because I speak Spanish.

P.S.: EA could give away the new Plants vs. Zombies to those who have the previous version.

Exact same thing happening to me! This is so frustrating, I tried the usuals, Uninstalling and Re-installing the game, the launcher, erasing cache, etc. and nothing works! Please help!

Please check, if the EA app is online, Mallardgangz​ by clicking on the three stripes in the top left corner.

Also go through the following connection troubleshooting steps here. 

Same exact error, installed in English too. Keeps saying "we noticed your PC is not connected to the internet" when asking me for product key.  "We've noticed your computer is offline. To activate this game you'll need to connect to the internet" is the exact phrase. PC is NOT offline. 

saiph​ and ShortyC​, if you tried installing the game in a language different to English, please follow the steps in the marked solution above. 

Same issue here.  And the EA help bot is saying "Open the settings menu from your home screen, select 'Help', and find your player ID at the bottom of the screen".  Except there is no Help on the settings screen.

I am having the exact same error message and I originally bought my PVZ on Origin. Can't get any help from this company!!
