I would have voted for "Many different places and times" in my opinion. I would prefer not to have a single setting, the plants and zombies should still continue to have the ultimate showdown to see which faction wins and takes over. This would be different in the plants case, but you know what I mean, I am sure!
The many different places and times could include Surburbia and Zomburbia, as well as different locations, including new locations that we have seen in the shooters to date, as well as some of the locations that have appeared in at least one of the current shooters.
