PVZ Classic - File Too Short Error

After taking a break from my PVZ original game, I missed it and decided to play. Unfortunately, I couldn't, I got a message in a grey box that reads, "File too Short." I've been to the forum and have found others with this same problem. There have been some solutions found for those on other apps which I've tried.  I'm on the EA app, and none of those fixes have worked so far. I have all of my folders set to be visible so there was no problem finding what I needed.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, repair within the app, completely deleting everything PVZ related after uninstalling and then reinstalling from scratch. I've even tried buying even though there wasn't a message or notice that it would have to be purchased. So far, nothing has worked.

I'm running Windows 11, and everything on my machine is updated to the latest versions of software. Any new ideas? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

    You have to turn ea offline go to C:\ProgramData\PopCap Games\PlantsVsZombies\ and delete the user data file then open up pvz complete 1-1 close it correctlly using the quit button then press go online on the ea app your progress will be completelly reset though.
