every time my son tries to playt split screen, the game goes into a blackout out screen and shows the flower pedals in the lower right side of the screen as the game is loading up but nothing happens. The game worked just fine yesterday, what's going on? Very frustrating.
Could you walk me through exactly what you're doing after you select split screen? And when the blackscreen occurs?
Is the second player a guest or a second account? What map do you select? How often are you encountering it?
Exactly the same problem here. Freshly downloaded last night. At the very start, the first loading screen, before anything else has happened, the game looks like it will start with the little flower head at bottom right, then fades to black and that's it for the video. There is some sound going in the background but without video (just a blkack screen) nothing more can happen. Any ideas?

The first loading screen after boot? Are you selecting splitscreen aswell? Disc or digtal download?
