PVZ Garden Warfare has stopped working. [PC]

Also please ensure you're not running any FPS counters.

No 3rd party application running in the background, hell even Steam is closed, latest NVidia drivers, all is up to date and the game keeps crashing. Looks like it's going to be a refund request.

I just tried playing Garden Op solo and I was able to play it fine without crashing. 

I still crash in multiplayer game, I was able to play one full game from start to finish one time before crashing the next game. 

I think it's the open mic fault, while in loading screen, you could hear other players microphone, there's even one guy blowing his nose and you could hear it, it's so gross, if I toggle mute all button as soon as loading screen is done, I am usually able to play the game, but as soon as a new guy joins, I have to mute his microphone asap, if not, I usually crash within 3-5 seconds.  That's just what I experienced.  I will do more testing.

Garden op solo is fine with no crashes, you should try that OP and see if the game crashes, unless you're crashing in the menu then I have no idea.

Same problem here, crashes on the second map and it does seems like the mics could be a proper because I experience the same pattern when crashing. Will try disabling all mics and see if it helps. Will report back. God now if I want a refund, the queue is 45 minutes on LiveChat....

I just crashed while loading the game, the game freezes but I could still hear other people talking for another 10 seconds or so, before the "PvZ Garden Warfare has stopped working" popup appears.  I think open microphone might be the culprit, there's no mute all microphones option outside the game.

I just completed a Garden Ops match, went from post game to main screen, crashed buring loading main menu. Not certain mic is the problem... this is ridiculous.

Could it also be a map problem?  I was able to finish 2 Team vanquish games but as soon as it switches to that new PC "exclusive" map, my game crashed.

Managed to play 2 rounds, then crashed again in team vanquish... uuughhh this is annoying.

Origin gave me a refund.  I am going to buy this game again when it's fixed, and who knows maybe it'll be cheaper by then.  Good luck to anyone still trying to make the game work.

Origin will refund the game if it's within 24 hours of game time.
