PVZ Garden Warfare has stopped working. [PC]

I think they are rolling out a patch tomorrow. Lets hope thats not a rumor.

Will ask for a refund tomorrow also. I don't want to gamble 35$ god damn dollars for a game that might take more than a patch to be playable.

This thread should be sticky, i have the same bug and i tried everything and nothing works, but im sure that is a game bug for the following reason:

I can perfectly play Garden Ops mode in solo, the game runs without problems, i played it for 30 minutes and it works perfectly.

As soon as i go multiplayer the game randomly crashes, sometimes after few seconds, and when im lucky i can play couple games before it freezes.

Please fix it, i dont want refunds, i want the damn game working.

It's harder to respond to a wall of people than it is to one concise OP that lists his specific error, system specs and any other information he can provide.

A lot of people here want to help, but you need to help us too by feeding us information about the issue and your system.

I find myself often skipping over huge threads if I have not been actively involved in it because that's where rocks get thrown at me.

I can discard a hardware or drivers related problem because as i told you i can perfectly play Garden Ops mode on solo without any lag or any problem it runs perfectly, when i go to multiplayer mode it randomly crashes giving this error description, i have visual studio installed i tried to open it with a debugger and of course it cant but it says that is an Unmanaged win32 exception.

If you need me to do some special test then let me know, but im sure the bug is not related to outdated drivers or not meeting the software requirements.

I tried running the game in the lowest possible configuration, turning off mic, muting everyone mics, disabling origin in game, etc. and nothing solved it yet.

Looks like we just have to wait, oh and wootcandy, EA Tried to help me, BUT IT DIDN'T WORK! They need to patch this soon.

Save it as "user.cfg"

You cannot have user.cfg.txt   enable "View Extentions" from Folder Options in Control Panel

Are these causing or will help?  I don't have any clue.  If your system is a beast I'd lean towards no but if it's not a beast... maybe?

** Yes all of that stuff I listed is for improving performance... will I get lucky and it fixes somebodies problem?  Wouldn't hold my breath.

Sometimes I can see a smoking gun in a an error log like the one you posted... that one I do not... I've seen it before and I fail trying to help fix it.

Im not home right now, i will test it tonight and i will give you an answer as soon as i can.

About the performance I have an AMD quadcore aprox. 2.1 GHZ and 8 GB of RAM, when i tested the game i was also checking the cpu and gpu temperature and it wasnt overheating or anything, sometimes i got the PvZ error having like 58 degrees on gpu and i tested on other games with higher quality and my gpu went to temperatures close to 90 degrees without lagging or freezing, i have a Radeon GPU, also checking the performance i still had a lot of free ram and the processors were like on 20% of use.

I will reply later after testing.
