PvZ Garden Warfare mouse stops working

When I launch Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare, the mouse does not work in game. I have to open Task Manager and end the process and restart the EA App. Then the mouse works in the game. EA has been having this issue with their games for years. Maybe EA needs to get in contact with Steam and GOG to learn how to make the mouse always work in game without having to end process in Task Manager. Also, I am tired of having to have EA running so I can play the games I purchased. GOG does not operate that way. All my GOG games launch without the app running. Some Steam games don't need the Steam app running to play purchased Steam games. EA is extremely out of touch with their users. After doing multiple searches for this issue on the internet, EA never seems to help the mouse issue. Maybe it is time to hire new and experienced software engineers from Steam and GOG.
