Solved

PvZ garden warfare with Steam overlay run but game is too slow, impossible (PC)

Is the same in both pcs I have.
I don't have problems with steam overlay ingame (It appears).
The only problem is that when game start (PvZ garden) is too slow and run 1fps, doesn't load the main menu game (Is too slow), but if I play without steam overlay the game is ok.
How can I solve this? I haven't this problems before with others non-steam game.
Hope can you understand me. Thanks.

PD: I know this isn't a steam forum, but is more easily find help here instead of steam forums

If you're determined to use Steam Overlay, try disabling Origin in Game.  You won't be able to use the Shift+F1 to join friends games, but I think you still can by minimizing and using Origin Friends list there.

I'd suggest getting a different program to take screenshots.

Fraps, make sure to disable it's overlay.  It doesn't play nice with Origin In Game either.

I seem to recall some program I used to put on people's computers to print their screen, printkey or something.  It had an option to save screenshots too.  Can't remember the name it's been many many moons.

There should be plenty of small programs that can bind a key or keys to take a screenshot.  SnagIt, ActivePresenter, Jing, Shutter, PicPick, ScreenSnag.  I think SnagIt costs money but the rest are free.  One of them should be able to do it, not sure which one would be best though.

I still use the ol' Alt+PrnScreen + Paint... but that wouldn't be so handy if you don't have 2 monitors or take a bunch of screenshots.

@JorgitoYokiro I suspect that the Steam overlay on top of the Origin In-Game overlay may just be a bit overkill for your system. Can you not just keep the Steam Overlay turned off for when you are playing PvZ Garden Warfare?

    Cheers,

    Nils

Yess disabling Origin Overlay works!! thanks!!

Fraps doesn't help me because I want to share screenshots inmediately in steam community (Pressing F12), with fraps that's not possible, that's why I want to use steam and no extra softwares.
