PVZ GW1 and your future

EA could very well release PVZ GW1 for free, considering the game doesn't receive updates and is very old. Currently, I believe nobody would buy this game, so there wouldn't be new players. However, if the game were released for free, it would attract players who like and support it, and this would also bring in many more players and generate even more hype for EA.
