PVZ GW unable to retreive saved data
when game is launched, I get this error message "failed to retrieve saved data". What do I do to resolve this?

Repairing the game should fix the issue. To do this
- Select the My Games in Origin.
- Right-click your game tile.
- Select "Repair Game."
If repairing didn't work, often what most people do is wait out the problem and, weirdly enough, it resolves itself. Unfortunately, waiting out the problem does take approximately one day - one full week. Waiting may sound like a dumb solution at the very least, but in the past, waiting has always solved this problem....just be patient.

I have the exact same problem "Failed to load saved data" when i launch PVZ Garden warfare 1. And i have that problem on another PC and that PVZ version is in french (mine is english). Both version are deluxe versions. We encountered that problem yesterday (July 21 2016) and it is still there today (July 22).
I tried repairing my installation with the "Repair game" option but the problem is still there. I tried launching the game with administrative privilege and the problem is still there. I also tried to disabling my antivirus, still the same problem.
My internet is working fine, the speed is excellent and every other game works (Wow, Minecraft, Steam, ...) so that is not the problem.
As anyone found what to do to correct this problem on PC ? Is there a local cache we have to delete to reset something ?
@EA : If you know you have a problem with your servers, please tell us !!! Don't keep us in the dark and think the problem will resolve by itself like magic. Computers don't do Magic tricks... i know, i work for IBM.

Sorry - but this is terrible service. It has been one of my favourite games since it came out and I was seriously considering getting GW2 - but there is not a cold day in hell that will happen when EA don't even say why it seems there is a problem on their servers. 5 days this has been the case - tried a repair, didn't work. This was the same debacle I went through to understand why the in game options wouldn't work - EA doesn't like things like process explorer running in the background, but had zero help on that issue, had to find that one out myself.
EA - come out with a statement one way or another. You sure as hell won't get money out of players for in game stuff or buying new games if you treat them this badly by not keeping them informed.

Saved data from pvz gw is gone. I did not delete it. It was all there yesterday. Today is gone. How? Why? What is going on? How do I get it back?
- @AuroraJester I've been playing everyday with my son, just have 2 trophies left to 100%, but since yesterday "failed to retrieve your saved file" keeps showing. Battle for neighborville runs ok, just garden warfare is doing this. On ps4.
- @EA_David It's happening again. I'm on Playstation 4. After the latest software update, the saved data just vanished. I am not the only one experiencing this.
Please say something EA.
