PvZ GW2 refuses to launch. (Steam)

On startup, the game boots up its little splash screen. The progress bar gets to 99-100% and then it just crashes and the EA app opens (from system tray). I have restarted my computer - multiple times- re-installed both GW2 and the EA app and installed the latest graphics driver, I've started the EA app as administrator, I think I'm running out of options here. Can anyone help?

    I FIGURED IT OUT!!

    basically you have to disable all of your startup services (apart from EA launcher and Steam, otherwise they dont work), restart, and the game launches. It has something to do with other services interfering with the EA launcher and Steam, you can figure which one is causing you problems by yourself and uninstall / disable it! Hope this helps all my GW2 fans out there!

    I have this exact same problem unfortunately this fix didn’t solve my issue, I even bought an entirely new copy of the game on a new EA account to try and fix this issue however it’s still persistent.

    I would always suggest you should launch the game from the EA App so that way Steam does not interfere with the launching process. I have always lauched it with the EA App and no problems have occoured with me. Apart from the EA Anti-Cheat of course.
